NelsonHall hires three from Ovum

In a press release today NelsonHall has announced that Katy Ring and Katja Grimme have joined the firm from Ovum (we understand that a third Ovumite is also set to join the firm). Also joining the firm are Gary Bragar, from AT&T, and Tony West, whose track record spans the Corporate Executive Board, Executive Performance Group, Strategic Integration Consulting, Westcorp Software Systems, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Katy has been at NelsonHall since October, but Katja’s move is also interesting. Since telecoms specialist Daniel Bieler has also left the firm, it meant that Ovum has no consultants in Germany other than Cornelia Wels-Maug, who has been one of the firm’s freelance associates.

I’ll write more later this week, but Ovum tell me that Wels-Maug has now joined the firm full-time to cover Grimme’s software and IT services beat.
