SAS is the biggest gainer this month in the Lighthouse Software Index. Helped by Gartner’s categorization of the firm as a visionary in the “Magic Quadrant for Data Integration” the firm has shot up 26 positions and is ranked 32 this month. Autodesk, which has announced availability of its Building Information Modeling software for Windows 64-bit operating systems, has also significantly improved its analyst score this month and is up 20 positions.
In the top 10 the biggest gainer is Adobe which is ranked 7th this month. The firm has announced acquisition of Denmark based dynamic imaging software provider YaWah and has also managed to improve its score by sharing its initiatives with the analyst community. The only new entrant this month in the top 25 is IFS which has moved up by 1 position this month.
Pegasystems is the biggest drop this month according to our rankings (not seen in the graph above). It has gone down 27 positions. Vignette, featured as a leader in the “Magic Quadrant for Horizontal Portal Products”, has also slid down 21 positions and is now ranked 48 this month. i2, the biggest gainer from last month, is the only firm to drop out of the top 25 this month.
