Analyst Firm Awards to be announced on November 20th

The Annual Analyst Firm awards will be announced in Boston on November 20th. The awards reflect responses by several hundred users of analyst firms to the Analyst Value Survey (AVS) conducted by the University of Edinburgh Business School’s Analyst Observatory.

This year’s awards will be given in the following categories.

  • Global
  • AI & Analytics
  • Cybersecurity
  • Enterprise Tech
  • Fintech
  • IoT
  • Marketing & Adtech
  • MediaTech
  • Telecoms & Networking.

These categories aggregate the 50 largest clusters of analysts’ coverage topics, calculated using data generously provided by ARinsights. The winners will be the firms most valued by users of analyst insight in those categories, with the Global category reflecting the most valued overall. At the request of Constellation Research, currently the initial participants’ 10th most-mentioned firm, it will not be considered for an award.

While the survey will remain open until 9am GMT on November 19th, the initial responses are numerous enough to see which firms are currently well-placed. Next week the Analyst Observatory will reach to the best-placed firms to invite them to awards events being organised in Boston and London. Last year, 14 of the 16 winning firms in the different categories we able to collect their awards face-to-face.
