The IIAR’s new research on international AR has prompted an interesting question: how big are the analyst and analyst relations communities outside North America?
It’s a useful question, because some vendors have not allocated their effort in the way that the analyst firms (and their competitors) have done. You still see organisations where nine out of ten AR professionals are still in North America. In contrast, the AR Intranet (our database of analysts) shows that around four out of every ten analysts are outside North America.
That’s also reflected by the readership of this website (both AR people and analysts), shows in the map above. On the basis of the last month, half the readers are in Northern America, a third are in Europe, and most of the rest of you are in Asia-Pacific.
