CCgroup webinar Analysts & the future of work

David Hopp joined Katie de Cozar and I to discuss how COVID-19 has changed the analyst industry, and analyst relations. Analysts are busier: consulting more and writing more as they travel less and face more demands from their clients. As Katie explains in the webinar, there a big changes in the enterprise and analysts are faced with clients that are scrambling to keep up with the same of change.

Its a tricky time, which is shifting the styles and cadence of analyst relations. We are seeing more time in video conference sessions, relationships are under more pressure, conversation with analysts and internal teams are sharper because of the need to show business impact.

All of this means AR people need to focus on more showing the return on investment from interacting with analysts, and on increasing the quality of trust.

AR professionals are always on call, but during the months when most of us are working at home the length of the day extends, and we face more disruptions.
