LONDON. February 1st 2018 — Longtime industry analyst Peter O’Neill has been appointed Research Director by Kea Company, the world’s largest analyst relations (AR) consultancy. O’Neill was previous research director at Forrester Research, leading the firm’s services for analyst relations professionals as well as research for B2B Marketing professionals.
At Kea Company, O’Neill will take responsibility for the firm’s research, including analysis of the well-established Value Survey and Attitude Survey, and a new series of SageCircle reports. His first SageCircle report, AR Can Learn A Lot From Analysts Use Of Competitors’ Research, is already available.
O’Neill comes to Kea Company after 17 years as a research leader. As a Vice President at Forrester Research, he led the firm’s research targeted at AR professionals and how they need to address changes in the tech industry. Prior to that, he led the Vendor Consulting team across EMEA at META Group.

As Forrester’s Vice President and Research Director for Analyst Relations Professionals until late 2017, Peter O’Neill managed the firm’s research targeted at AR professionals in the tech industry. He edited the multi-report Forrester playbook “The Industry Analyst Relations Playbook” and contributed to many other reports which discuss all aspects of doing AR. He also worked in numerous client workshops on AR topics such as Spokesperson Training and Measuring AR Success.
Peter joined Forrester in 2005 after 4 years at META Group, where he had lead the Vendor Consulting Practice for EMEA.
Before becoming an analyst, Peter worked at Hewlett Packard in Germany and in the USA for two decades in a range of program management roles.
