techUK launches Edinburgh Uni ‘Analyst Launchpad’ certificate

Analyst Launchpad

techUK, the industry association whose ‘Analyst Launchpad‘ seminars educate British tech business on analyst relations, has announced a University of Edinburgh certificate in analyst relations.

The University of Edinburgh Business School awards the certificate to professionals who successfully complete any of the half-day Analyst Launchpad workshops. Two workshops are currently available: one for marketing professionals, next scheduled for March 28; and a workshop for sales leaders, on April 30th. Attendance is possible in person, at techUK’s City of London, headquarters or by video-conference.

The workshop for marketing professionals uses a strong framework of analysts’ work to help create an analyst relations programme focussed on creating business value.

The workshop for sales leaders goes into detail into analysts’ impact on the sales pipeline, and explains the role of AR and analysts’ advocacy on the business development process.

Both workshops are led by two former IIAR board members: Professor Neil Pollock, director of the ESRC’s 2nd Pitch project, and Duncan Chapple, director of analyst relations at CCgroup PR. Guest speakers from the IIAR, the wide AR community and the analyst industry will add their insights.
