Current Analysis caught in the spotlight

Over the last few years Current Analysis has gained increasing profile with telecom operators and vendors. The firm’s attractive and digestible research has won it many tens of thousands of users across its client organisations. As we first discussed in 2005, its immediate reaction to industry events has given it an almost unique space in which is continues to flourish. As a result, it’s the focus of this month’s Advisor Spotlight webinar on May 15th (click here to register).

Current Analysis’s distinctive edge is the ability to rapidly outline to operators and suppliers how competitive threats impact on their markets. The firm edged up into the $25m-plus revenue bracket back in 2004, and since then has expanded its base in the firm’s core areas: telecoms (especially mobility and networking), enterprise technologies, and also boosted its coverage around multimedia and software.

Current Analysis has started to register as an influencer on buying slightly in our CIO surveys since 2006, but hardly at all in the mid-market. However, the huge volume of its research has boosted its profile with some suppliers far in excess of its real impact on buyers, as we have discussed before.

Let us know if you have any comments or questions about Current Analysts that we should address in the webinar.
