Big stakes in Informa sale: Aleksandra Bosnjak on webinar panel

Duncan Chapple and Aleksandra Bosnjak have been billed as speakers for for our Informa webinar on the possible sale of the firm. Since both were formerly analysts at Ovum, part of the Informa group, they bring both a personal and professional insight into the challenges facing clients and future buyers of the firm. Aleksandra Bosnjak is now Lead TMT Analyst for StrategyEye Digital Media. She focuses on digital content distribution strategies, mergers and acquisitions/finance activities across the TMT sector, with a special focus on media companies, technology vendors, telecoms and new media players.

Aleksandra has around 10 years experience in telecom/ media industry and is a frequent contributor and M&A expert guest to various CNBC and BBC deal coverages where she often comments on key TMT transactions (e.g. Microsoft/Yahoo, HP-EDS, back in 2006 Sky/ITV/Virgin, Apple, Google, etc).

Aleksandra has an interesting perspective on the prospective deal and relates it to a series of fundamental changes in competitive intelligence. Sensing the big stakes to be played for, money is in the game to win Informa. New private equity bidders will open up every question about which parts of Informa are retained and which should be sold to pay down debts.
