Analyst Firm Awards to Honor 18 Highly-valued Firms

Based on global survey data, annual awards show buyers trust a wider range of industry analyst providers

London, UK, 30 August 2018 – Kea Company, the world’s largest consultancy focused on influencer research and analyst relations for telecoms and technology-driven solutions providers, has announced the 18 recipients of the annual Analyst Firm Awards (AFA). Since 2001, the Analyst Firm Awards have been defined by data gathered from the Analyst Value Survey. Based on input from thousands of professionals, this survey shows which industry analysts firms are most valued and by whom. Ultimately, the survey results help organizations understand which analysts firms have the most impact and which provide the most value.

This year’s survey shows the use of industry analyst providers is broadening.  Long-time industry leaders Gartner and Forrester research are increasingly supplemented by mid-size firms, as reflected by the Analyst Firm Awards.

“The growing complexity of new technology adoption means that managers need knowledgeable analysts with relevant expertise and integrity. Sadly, the market’s appetite for new technology is limited by professionals’ struggle to access research with adequate depth, breadth and quality,” said Duncan Chapple, managing partner for research at Kea Company. “The Analyst Value Survey shows that most analyst firms are increasing their readerships as their users access additional sources to counter uneven research quality and the increasing costs of research access and advisory services.”

The following 18 firms are ones that the Analyst Value Survey identified as highly-valued firms and will receive an Analyst Firm Award on September 10.
