Convergys is the biggest gainer in this month’s Services Index. The firm has won speech technology excellence awards for its SpeechPort and Intervoice Voice Portal. It has also been mentioned as a niche player in the “Magic Quadrant for Contact Center Infrastructure, Worldwide” report for its Intervoice product. This has helped the firm move up 8 positions this month. Convergys is currently positioned at number 21 and this jump makes it the only firm to enter the top 25 this month. Unisys has announced that five of its worldwide outsourcing centers have received the prestigious ISO/IEC 20000 certification has also moved up 1 position and is now listed in the top 5.
T-Systems has moved up 3 positions this month. It has announced re-organization of its German business while continuing to expand its international business helping it to improve its month-on-month volume of mentions by around one-third in the Lighthouse Services Index.
Perot Systems is the biggest loser this month. The firm has acquired Tellurian Networks but the news has yet to materialise in meaningful analyst focus and its ranking has dropped by 5 positions this month. TietoEnator, the only firm to drop out of the top 25 this month, has dropped down 4 positions and is ranked 29th this month.
