Intel is the most high profile gainer this month as it moves up 2 positions. A new strategic partnership with telecom giant Nokia and launch of the 34nm SSDs have helped to lift Intel to the third spot. It would be interesting to see if the firm will be able to retain the spot next month. Analyst focus on Seagate’s BlackArmor storage products launched in late June has helped the firm move up 6 positions this month. Pitney Bowes which has been named as one of the 40 Best Companies for Diversity is also up 6 positions this month and is ranked 32. Texas Instruments, which introduces the industry’s smallest PCI Express to PCI translation bridge, is up 2 positions and is the only new entrant to the top 25 this month.
Oce is the only firm to drop out of the top 25 this month. The firm has launched its new Océ VarioLink device to speed up professional document workflow but fewer analyst mentions than last month have meant a drop of 4 positions in its rankings. NCR, BenQ and Nikon are also down 4 positions each this month.
