Expanding our relationship management team

Lighthouse’s London office is expanding its team: firstly with two part-time relationship managers (one for a business development manager, and a senior manager for our Beacon online research service) and also a research assistant.

All positions involve working with our stellar client list, centered on most of the top 25 IT and telecoms brands. Lighthouse has a strong bonus scheme and provides excellent professional development opportunities, making full advantage of our location on a central London university campus. Applicants to Lighthouse typically have cross-cultural savvy, relevant work experience and a good academic record.

  • The business developer can continually adapt our portfolio to changing client needs, so we need a relationship builder who can help clients by listening and questioning. This person needs a proven record in building rapport, and the potential to grow into a more senior role. Since our market is global, a comfortable telephone manner is needed.
  • Our Beacon Research Director will help clients to get the most out of our Beacon service, which is built around our AR Intranet. Our projects involve an international team of Lighthouse consultants working with associates in Germany and China.

We find that these part-time roles are exceptionally effective in attracting talented people who want to balance work with other interests (such as writing, parenting, postgraduate study, hobbies or enterpreneurial projects).

Our third role is for a research assistant working on our Beacon research service. This person will work for two half days a weeks, dealing with inquiries from industry analyst firms. A keen eye for detail is needed, together with a firm but diplomatic telephone manner.
