Our own July 4th celebration

On July the 4th we’ll be reorganising some of the work allocations here at Lighthouse. In the main, two of the team will be exchanging many of their responsibilities: Hugh Rittner will become co-chair of the firm’s board and will be our client service director; I will take over his role as the lead for our ‘top targets’: the 20 companies we most want to work with.

We’ve been planning this move since Hugh joined the firm last summer on a one year project to reorganise our business development process and redesign two of our key services. The results have been astonishing: this quarter will have our second-highest average contract size, and the highest-ever percentage of revenues coming from our top targets.

Hugh was well prepared for the role: he was a software entrepreneur and business development supremo before arriving here.

We’ll be hosting a dinner on the evening of July 4th for those who want to celebrate Hugh’s elevation. Drop him or me a line if you’d like to join us.
