Rising stars in 2015 Analyst Value Survey

At the end of each year, we are busy with our annual Analyst Value Survey. The results of the survey are used and discussed hundreds of thousands of times each year. Using a write-in option, participants can give feedback on any firm they like – even a tiny one. To speed the survey along, however, we have a pick-list of the 60 or so most important firms. And each year we also test around 40 other ‘next year’ firms to see which we should consider adding or, or removing from, the list. Each year we tend to remove firms with fewer comments and add those that are rising in profile. For 2015, we added in the firms shown above. In 2016, for example, we’ll probably add Towers Watson and IHS.

We’ve updated the main list of firms, below. I think we have every analyst firms with more than 12 full-time analysts, but we still have time to add firms to the ‘next year’ test list. I’ve put in italic the firms that currently look as if they will fall out of the main list next year.
