Hill & Knowlton selects Oslo for European AR

Hill & Knowlton’s commitment to analyst relations has been deepened by the appointment of Astrid Krone, of the Gambit PR agency in Norway, as its Head of Industry Analyst Relations in EMEA.

Gambit’s announcement of the appointment stresses that communications with industry analysts is of growing important to the international Hill & Knowlton business. Gambit will develop and manage analyst outreach in co-ordination with H&K agencies across Europe, helping their clients to build a dialogue with analysts focussing on IT products, services and markets.

Pun-happy Gambit argues that H&K isn’t gambling with this gambit: the fact that H&K is basing AR in Oslo reflects its praise for Gambit’s work in the AR area. The firm hopes to build on its experience of working with analysts internationally.

Gambit’s Astrid Krone has already led a number of international analyst outreach programs for Hill & Knowlton since joining the firm in 1999. Astrid was previously an AR manager for IBM in Norway.
