Yesterday’s Software Index had a surge of readers after Yahoo Finance picked up the mention of OpenText (OTEX) on our RSS feed. Many of those readers came from software vendors, the analyst firms that follow them and the investor relations teams working for tech companies.
To encourage that, we’ll be experimenting with embedding tickers, like (IT) for Gartner, into our RSS feed sometimes. This will encourage financial information providers to index Analyst Equity, and will help RSS readers to get information from them to get context for our discussions of those firms.
