Thom Erbé and I met yesterday to get the ball rolling for the 2014 AR Forum in September. We’re starting earlier than last year in order to consult more widely about the agenda for the event. The first part of that involves appointing an international advisory council. Several leading AR professionals are being approached to join the council and, as last year, we’ll be surveying the AR community to help pick the key topics. We’re also looking forward to hearing insight from ARInsights and SageCircle at the event.
The international advisory council for 2014 AR Forum includes Caroline Dennington, Ed Gyurko, Yash Khanna, Efrem Mallach, Mike Myers, Pamela Sankey and Robin Schaffer If you have suggestions about potential advisory council members or topics you’d like to see discussed at the Forum, please let us know.
As last year, we’ll be hosting the event in the Grade One historical property of King’s College London. The event has outgrown the largest room in the Somerset House East Wing, so are moving across the King’s Quadrangle into the original King’s Building. We’ll use the college’s impressive Council Room, which overlooks the quadrangle and the Somerset House East Wing.
We’ll be announcing the date and other details in around a week’s time.
PS There’s a poll here http://doodle.com/33p2dwy4pbhi7axz where you can help us choose the best date for the AR Forum
