The biggest gainer this month in the Lighthouse Services Index is Booz. The firm was recently included in the ‘100 Best Companies for Working Mothers’ list for the 10th consecutive year. Booz has moved up 8 positions and is now ranked 29th.
The market for authentication products and services is showing strong growth. This may be the reason why Verisign moved up 4 positions this month. Verisign also released a report showing continued growth in domain registrations. It now stands at the 20th spot.
Cognizant has recently been featured by Barron’s as a firm with strong fundamentals and a good buy in at its current stock price. It has moved up 3 positions this month. The firm has inaugurated its latest delivery center in Hungary and is currently ranked 12th in the Lighthouse Services Index. PricewaterhouseCoopers is the only new entrant to the top 25 this month. The firm has announced record breaking $28.2 billion revenues for 2008. However, with the current financial turmoil it will be interesting to see if PwC can maintain this growth in 2009. Lockheed Martin has dropped down 7 positions and is the only firm to have dropped out of the top 25 this month. The firm has reported an increase in its dividend, however, that has not helped it maintain its score in our Services firm rankings this month. CGI Group has also dropped down 7 positions and is now ranked 36th this month.
