The most high profile gainer this month is CSC which moved up 2 positions. The firm has been mentioned in analyst reports for its SOA based systems integration capabilities and its plans to move into providing new cloud services is sure to keep analysts focused on the firm.
The biggest gainer this month is CGI Group which announced improved revenues in an otherwise tight economy. The firm has gone up 7 positions and is ranked 30th this month. BT Global’s plan to launch VDC (Virtual Data Centre) services to help organizations consume their IT and networking infrastructure as a service has helped the firm improve its rankings this month. It has moved up 5 positions and is now ranked 7th. Verisign and KPMG are the two firms to enter the top 25 this month and are ranked 23 and 25 respectively.
TietoEnator has suffered the biggest decline in ranking this month and is down 8 positions. The decline may be attributed to the firm launching itself with a new brand name “Tieto” since December 2008. Getronics which was acquired by KPN in 2007 has also gone down 6 positions. The firm has recently outlined new plans to revive its fortunes and we may see renewed analyst interest in the firm. Getronics and Patni are the two firms to have dropped out of the top 25 this month.
