Because of the wide-spread interest for this topic, we hosted a free webinar on Thursday 30th of January with a panel which included Barbara French (Sr Director, Analyst Relations, Corporate Communications at Juniper Networks), Patricia Valuch (Analyst Relations Communications Specialist at Symantec) and Duncan Chapple (Managing Director at Kea Company). This panel gave their views on the Social AR field, and discuss best practices.
In the first half of the call Valuch discussed social media and the analyst ecosystem today, and outlined the best practises for strategy and planning. Her experiences of planning initiatives and interactions were focussed by questions from the participants on the call.
In the second half of the call, Barbara French joins the call to review the foundational issues for integrating AR with social media. She explains how Juniper’s AR team was able to learn from the rest of the firm’s social media work, but still needed to develop an understanding of the analysts and their real world influence that’s quite separate from their online profile.
