Lighthouse Systems Index - June 2008BenQ is the top gainer in the Lighthouse Systems Index this month jumping up 10 positions. The firm has reported strong sales of its LCD monitors, the launch of new digital camera products will hopefully help the firm maintain analyst focus on its products. Another firm that has managed to gain analyst focus this month is Oce. It has gained 7 positions and is now ranked at the 22nd spot this month. Its new innovative CrystalPoint color technology has brought about a lot of analyst attention and helped Oce gain entry in the top 25 this month.

Panasonic, which has become an Official Partner of the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games in the Video and Audio Equipment Category, has also gained 3 positions and is ranked at the 16th spot.

SanDisk has shown the biggest decline this month with a drop of 9 positions. The firm has not managed to maintain its score of analyst focus this month. However, with the launch of the new SanDisk Extreme III Memory stick the firm may rebound next month. NCR is the only firm this month to have dropped out of the top 25. The firm has announced record year over year revenue growth but has still dropped down 3 positions and is now at the 26th spot. It is worth noting that NCR managed to get into the top 25 exactly a year ago (June 2007).
