The top gainer this month is Lawson Software which has moved up 25 positions and is ranked 36th. Analysts’ observations about Lawson CUE 2009 are one of the major reasons for its improved rank this month. One of the other top gainers this month is Infor. Its announcement to acquire SoftBrands has helped improve its analyst score and it is up 8 positions this month.
The only new entrant to the top 25 this month is NetSuite which is ranked 18th. The firm has announced its software as the first Software as a Service (SaaS) business management suites to be certified by the German Institute of Auditors. The firm has also been ranked by Gartner as the fastest growing Financial Management System vendor in North America helping it move up 8 positions.
The firm to drop out of the top 25 this month is SunGard which is down 7 positions and is ranked 26th this month. It has been named as the “Best Banking Technology Provider” by Banker Middle East but analysts focus has largely remained confined to an analysis of its Infinity approach it announced 3 years ago. The top loser this month is Check Point which has slid down 18 positions and is ranked 49th.
