Fujitsu is the most high profile gainer in September’s edition of the Lighthouse Systems Index. The firm has gained coverage by offering innovative notebook security solution and has also been the focus of analysts for its performance in the High-End Enterprise Disk Arrays market. The resulting improvement in its score has helped Fujitsu to move up 3 positions and make it to the 3rd spot in September.
Samsung also moved up 3 positions to the 4th spot as analyst focus on its 500GB-per-disk desktop hard disk drive helped it to improve its score.
BenQ, which intruduced some interesting new models of its Joybook netbooks, is the top gainer for September and moved up 7 positions to the 28th spot. The only new entrant to the top 25 in September is Oce which moved up 5 positions to the 23rd spot.
LG showed the biggest drop in our ranking for September and dropped 6 positions to the 19th spot. Intel also dropped down 3 positions to the 6th spot as analyst mentions of the firm dropped after a surge in August. The only firm to drop out of the top 25 is Texas Instruments which dropped to the 27th spot.
