The most high profile mover this month is Wipro. The firm has moved up 2 places and is now ranked 9th in the Services Index this month. The firm is being hailed by Gartner as an “emerging megavendor” and is also ranked by IDC as one of the top 50 European Service Players. TietoEnator is the only new entrant to the top 25 and is ranked 23rd this month. The firm has recently signed an agreement to help Swedbank Robur streamline its existing fund administration processes helping it to move up 4 positions.
Surprisingly, the biggest gainer this month is NextiraOne. The firm which is now known as Black Box in US and Canada, has managed to move up 8 spots and is now ranked 42nd. Getronics which has been categorized as a niche player by Gartner in the “Magic Quadrant for Managed and Professional Network Service Providers” has also moved up 5 positions this month: it is now ranked 20th.
Convergys has shown the biggest decline this month by dropping down 9 positions. It is the only firm to drop out of the top 25 this month. News that it is considering splitting itself into 2 separate businesses will probably help the firm attract more analyst focus by next month and improve its ranking. TCS has also dropped down 4 positions. However, it is holding analyst industry events in US and Europe and it can be reasonably concluded that it will see a boost in its profile in the upcoming months.
