Accenture which had just last month slipped to the number 2 spot in the Lighthouse Services Index has gained back the coveted number 1 spot. Analyst reports that suggested it as a leader in Oracle implementation as well as some great financial results surely helped Accenture jump back. The other most high profile mover this month is Cognizant which has jumped up 5 positions as analysts pour over the news of its agreement with T-Systems.
Top gainers this month are SAIC, Convergys, CGI Group and Protiviti with gains of 6 positions each. SAIC which has announced its acquisition of SM Consulting and Icon Systems is now ranked at the 21st spot and is one of the entrants in our top 25 for the month. The other entrant is Convergys which is ranked at the 22nd spot this month.
Lockheed Martin has dropped down 6 positions and is the biggest loser this month. The firm was rated as the biggest gainer last month but appears to have failed in keeping its gains intact. Verisign and Perot Systems are also down 2 and 4 positions respectively and both have been dropped out of the top 25.
