Experton Group, the analysts formerly known as Meton, have been forced by Gartner to cancel its conference.
The conference at Munich’s Kempinski Hotel was planned for 27 and 28 September 2005. Lawyers acting for Gartner’s META Group brand have won a provisional court order against Experton. This order forbids the conference to be held in the form originally planned. In the short time available, Experton cannot organise an alternative and has called the conference off for the time being.
